塑胶运动地板是采用聚氯乙烯材料专门为运动场地开发的一种地板，具体来说就是以聚氯乙烯及其共聚树脂为主要原料，加入填料、增塑剂、稳定剂、着色剂等辅料，在片状连续基材上，经涂敷工艺或经压延、挤出或挤压工艺生产而成。分为室内运动地板和室外运动地板，室内运动地板一般有专业运动木地板、PVC塑胶运动地板、丙烯酸（聚氨脂）运动地面、橡胶地板等。一般是由多层结构叠压而成，一般有耐磨层（含UV处理）、玻璃纤维层、弹性发泡层、基层等。
